Washington, DC – HDMK today announced that Republican strategist Julie Cram has joined the strategic communications and public affairs firm as partner. Cram brings more than 15 years of experience in issue advocacy, communications and government affairs to the firm. Cram has held a number of high-level posts in campaigns, the federal government and the private sector during her career.

Cram joins the bipartisan HDMK team from her own firm, where she advised national trade associations, political and issue campaigns, coalitions and corporations.
Cram has held high level posts in government, including serving most recently as Deputy Assistant to the President and Director of the Public Liaison during President George W. Bush’s administration and Director of Public Affairs at the International Trade Administration. Cram also served as Deputy Communications Director for the Bush-Cheney campaign in 2004 and as Deputy Communications Director at the Republican National Committee.

Cram has served in other strategic public affairs roles in the private sector and in public affairs agencies, including Director of Public Affairs at Burson-Marsteller; Senior Vice President at DDC Advocacy; and as Vice President of Corporate Communications for TerreStar Networks Inc., a mobile satellite communications company.
